HELLO EVERYONE!
It looks like today will just be gorgeous. I have alot of things planned (in my mind) for today. Today leaves us with 28 days left until Christmas. I hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday. I sure did. My daughter is visiting from Phoenix. She'll be here with me for a little bit more than a week still. The time goes by so fast! I'm so glad she came to visit. She has her two sons (my grandsons) with her here, & one is my newest baby grandson. He is so cute! He looks just like me (of course). Well, we've been doing just about everything, going just about everywhere. Today I want us to go to the movies and see 'Flushed Away'. Have you guys seen it? I hope it's good. It looks good. I promised my older grandson that I'd take him to see it. He's excited. He does real well at the movies. He just sits there and really gets into it! We went to see RV together. He loves the movies. I'm having a wonderful cup of coffee right now. I used some of the Coffee Mate that's flavored for the season. It's 'Peppermint Mocha'. I do recommend that one. It's good. I started reading a new book, it's called 'JESUS FREAKS'. It's stories of those who stood for Jesus. Even if it meant paying with their lives. It has brought me to tears, and closer to our Lord. In the book I read this and with my whole heart I totally believe it:
"Men choose a religion, but a Christian is chosen by Jesus Christ. To be a Christian means to belong to Christ. Jesus asked me to renounce even my life, to follow Him faithfully, not to fear the world, even if my body must perish. I prefer to know that God, The Almighty, is with me, even if it means that the whole world is against me."
(ROMANS 12: 14, 15, 21. NLT :) If people persecute you because you are a Christian, don't curse them; pray that God will bless them. When others are happy, be happy with them. If they are sad, share their sorrow... Don't let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good. <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><
We have a radio station here that is playing Continuous Christmas Music.
It is called: KOSI 101.1 fm maybe you could pull it up on your computer if you want and listen to it while you are online.
During this Christmas season, I'm finding that it's extremely hard to stay within any kind of budget. I've got the shopping pretty much done, but I'll be having to save really hard later to replenish the savings. I had to pray before I balanced my checkbook. God always helps me, and it wasn't as bad as I'd thought. Praise the Lord.
The weather cast said that today would be real nice, tomorrow starts the 'Very COLD'. There is supposed to be snow in Denver on Tuesday and it's supposed to be sticking around awhile. goody.
I hope wherever you are, that you will be nice and warm. See you soon! Your friend.-Missygirl*
