Hi friends! ~33 DAYS TO CHRISTMAS!~

In the Bible it tells of the apostle Paul, and how his only goal in this life on earth was to share Jesus Christ with other people. In his heart his one desire was to leave this earth and actually be with Jesus. I really try to be as much focused on my mission as Paul was on his. Which, mine is nothing compared to the greatness he achieved. At least I don't so much struggle with the distractions of this world anymore, like I used to. I know I'm still far off the mark.
I'm always hoping I'll have enough time to get everything done. I also always wonder if things are done good enough. I feel time has sped up, and I'll never be able to completely scratch off my list the things I have 'to do'. Paul reminds me that I need to set my priorities on 'fruitful labor'. The things of this world will pass, it will not matter if my house was cleaned totally spotless or not, or if my garden was perfectly weeded. It will matter if I shared Jesus with the people He puts in my life. It will matter if I have a good relationship with Him.
Those things will matter for all eternity.* ♥

What a really beautiful November day! -44 days until Christmas-

Hi friends! -As I went grocery shopping Saturday, I noticed that Christmas music was playing in the store already. People are getting excited about Christmas a little early this year. My daughter said, "I just love Christmas music!" She just smiled. That's good. But the holidays aren't quite here yet. I still have to decide about Thanksgiving dinner. Should I add some new things to the dinner this year? Should I let the girls do the cooking and sit this one out? Should we go out to eat? (then, where?) So many choices...so little time! -I don't know yet.
It was supposed to be dusted over with snow outside when we woke up this morning. Nope. No snow. Just a beautiful day. I need to clean up dog poo outside today. Not a fun job, but it needs to be done nevertheless.*

Flying Bugs on Houseplants
I used to find bugs in my potted plants after I brought them in for the winter.
Filling a spray bottle with water and an inch or two of a product called TENGARD is absolutely the only thing I've ever found that works. I've tried water and dish soap, I've tried vinegar. Regular and apple cider. Finally I tried this product. It's one my husband uses for bugs in the back yard, kills any kind of bug we've needed to kill, even fleas, so I tried it here. We purchased ours at a place called 'American Pride Co-op' but they sell it online also.
Just fill your bottle, spray, and there you go.*

Good Morning friends. Well....elections are over now. As far as the future goes, we have to wait and see what's up ahead for us. Part of me just doesn't understand how Obama could have won. Everything he stands for, it seems to me, is so godless. But then, I do understand: Voters across the nation wanted to punish President Bush and took it out on John McCain and other Republicans around the country. I feel as if this election was extremely twisted and rooted in anger and the people didn't truly investigate the issues. They just stopped caring and voted as far out there as they could looking for a change. The change will come now. It might not be the change that was hoped for, but now it's too late. The people of these United States have made their choice...Enough said. May God help us. -Missygirl*
