The countdown 'till Christmas continues! .......41 DAYS!
It had me thinking about gifts. That's always been a hard one. I am a procrastinator, so when I need to choose a gift, it has to be something that will be easy to find..Still be in stock, and that the person will like, while also being in my price range. (That means fairly cheap.)
I want to be sure to have a good gift for everyone. There was a Christmas when my children were small, and they wanted to buy gifts themselves. We didn't have much money, but we did have a great idea: We went to the Dollar store. (Back in the day when everything in the store really was a dollar.) The kids were so pleased to choose gifts themselves, for everyone!
I do recommend that idea. It turned out real well, and there still are $1 dollar stores, you just have to look. Other good gift choices are memberships. The Zoo, The Children's Museum, The Butterfly Pavillion, are a few. (Those can be for a whole family.) A Restaurant Gift Certificate for a couple to go have a good meal, Tickets to go to the Movies, A Sam's club or Costco Membership; For someone living out of town or out of state, how about having pizza delivered or flowers? You can always purchase something from E-Bay or Amazon and have it delivered to their address. I think a wonderful gift is a Bible. That's an all-time favorite gift of mine. You can always buy Gift cards. Well, I hope that helps some. Have a good night, friends.
