WE'VE STARTED A BEAUTIFUL NEW MONTH -FEBRUARY!
I was just reading that if it snows today, that indicates a wet spring is ahead!
Very nice! We do want to have a vegetable garden this year. It will be our first since we moved into this house. It was drought for a long while here, not really worth the time and effort before. Hopefully, this year will be different. I wanted to tell you... I don't think we're going to sell books on e-Bay anymore. They want to charge more money for each sale, and also they are thinking about making everyone charge taxes to the people who buy. (Basically we would need to know the sales tax of 49,000 different counties across the US, and charge accordingly, to be ready to mail that, in a payment, to the IRS at the end of the year.) I feel as if doing that would give us a heart attack, while they are nickel and dimeing us to death at the same time. We had fun for awhile, but it wouldn't be worth the headache. So until further notice, mrbrownsbooks is no more. Should they decide against instituting the tax issue, we could start it up again. I'll for sure let you know; Thank you to all of you faithful ones! I really mean that.

O.K. ....... Do you guys know where -OK- originally came from? It was during a war, where someone held up a sign that said it. It meant: zero killed. (O=zero + K=killed. OK. )
I thought that was kind of interesting.

GINGER for Warmth and Comfort
Sea captains kept ginger among their rations, and civil war tonics included it as a morale booster.
Here are some suggestions for using ginger to give yourself a boost:
* After a hard day, mix some ginger into an herbal oil and use it to massage sore muscles.
* Try ginger tea for morning sickness or menstrual distress.
* Add a few drops of ginger oil or some grated fresh ginger to hot bathwater. A good soak in gingered water will help you sweat away what ails you.*
