Hi Friends! I've been thinking about you and wanted to share a few things with you.
First, for those of us that like creamer in our coffee, I tried a new one and it's my favorite now.
It's a Coffee-mate creamer. It's called: Coconut Creme.
- Hold on...Give me just one second here... When I first saw that kind I thought to myself:
" Gross! How Nasty! Coconuts in my coffee...sick!"
And then I stopped to read the label and this was what it said:
America has chosen! SPECIAL EDITION- Coconut Creme - WINNER.
So I thought to myself, " Well...since America did choose it and everything, I guess I can try it."
So I put the vanilla kind back and took the coconut one. (These are the liquid ones, next to the gallons of milk in the dairy isle.) NO! I'm not doing a commercial for them. I did tell you since day one, that I would share good stuff that I come across with you, and I meant it.
Now... I came across a really good mascara.
It's called: COVERGIRL PROFESSIONAL all-in-one mascara. In a blue container. It really makes your lashes look longer and it doesn't seem to pull out my lashes (like the other one I 'used to use' named "Maybell#!&" that came in a different color container). If you get my drift.
I wanted to talk to you about another thing. I had been going through a time lately where it seemed I was losing alot of hair! Well, let me tell you, on Friday I was drying my hair really good, a super strong hair dryer, full heat, 1875 watts, hair almost dry....poof! I heard a pop. Hair dryer was dead. (I really liked that hair dryer.) Anyway, down the street is a thrift store that had one. I noticed right away that it wasn't as many watts. This one was 1600. It is equally as hot, though. The thing is, now that I've been using this one, I'm not cleaning my hair out of my brush by the handful, like I used to. Seriously. I'm so glad. I guess I was just abusing my hair way too much. I can only thank The Lord for revealing that to me. Not that I have any problem with bald people mind you, my style is just different.*

I especially like to use the fresh herbs to make my favorite summer salad dressing—a large dollop of plain yogurt with enough olive oil to thin it to a just-pourable consistency, then chopped fresh herbs and a bit of salt and pepper (I also include some cilantro from the farmers market, but since they sell it in a rather large bunch, I froze most of it and use the frozen herb just like fresh ones). It's delicious on sliced cucumbers, too!
