Winter's done, and April's in the skies, Earth, look up with laughter in your eyes! -Charles G.D. Roberts

A bit of advice to avoid a CATastrophe:
Cats that ingest any part of an Easter lily (or another member of the lily family) can develop kidney damage within hours, so keep those Easter lilies out of reach. If your cat nibbles a lily, call your vet right away!*

FIVE GREAT REASONS TO DRINK WATER:
#1: Dehydration is a problem for 75 percent of Americans.
For many what feels like a hunger pang is actually thirst.
#2: Drinking water boosts the metabolism while lessening food cravings.
#3: Dehydration is the chief contributor to daytime fatigue.
#4: Most people who suffer from back and joint pain find relief if they
drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.
#5: To keep mental faculties sharp -memory, computation, mental focus-
Stay hydrated!*

Well hi Friends! Here we are in April! The days are getting longer and warmer. I want to let everyone know that I did in fact finish the curtains that I said needed to be sewn. They turned out just beautiful, if I'm allowed to say so myself. (of course I asked the Lord to be with me and help me the whole way through, which He did.) I ended up making curtains for every curtainable window in the house. (Some have mini blinds instead) I made living room curtains with matching little curtains for the door that leads to the back yard. I made bedroom curtains with matching curtains for the small upper window. I finished with the kitchen curtains I made. They are very clean and bright. It seems to wake the kitchen up. I always get excited after any creation I do, whether it be sewing, childbirth or even dinner.
I did finish ready an Awesome book that I wanted to tell you about. It's called:
LEAVE IT TO CLAIRE by, Tracey Bateman. It is the first book in a series of 3 so far.
The next two in the series are: Claire Knows Best, (I just ordered this one from Amazon)
and the final book is: I Love Claire This last book just came out in January 2007.
Now I'm back to reading one of Tamar Myers books. This one is called:

Too Many Crooks Spoil The Broth. I'm really enjoying it. I do recommend reading.
It's a beautiful pastime. There is always something for everyone's tastes.

"A Home Without Books Is Like A Room Without Windows" -Henry Ward Beecher

The husband and I have been outside doing some planting. I always get so excited and I want everything to be fully grown and huge the next day. I can clearly see it in my mind's eye, yet I totally realize I didn't plant the same magic beans Jack used for his beanstalk, so my results will be just a little bit different. But, the yard should be looking real good, real soon, hopefully,
and my husband planted a vegetable garden also. I'm looking forward to fresh veggies.
On http://denver.craigslist.org/ I found a wonderful lady who was selling some plants she was growing in her yard. A huge yard front and back with lots and lots of different varieties. I brought home Money Plants, Orange Poppies, Quince trees, Pussy Willow branches (I have in water they're rooting) they will be gorgeous trees when they grow, and different others. My husband planted those too. I so much would love to be able to work outside like I used to. But, I tire easily from this stupid M.S. and that would be impossible for me. My husband never complains though. He really likes to work in the yard. Anyway, I put the link for Craigslist on here so you could check it out. It doesn't matter where you live, really, Craigslist is all over.
I'm sure the lady where I got the plants isn't selling anymore now. There were others arriving to buy more plants as I was leaving, I'm sure she sold everything she wanted to. But Craigslist isn't for just plants, don't get me wrong...it has clothing, jewelry, auto parts, pets, furniture, pretty much everything. It even has a section of free things.
I'm going to say goodnight now, I've enjoyed my time with you, today.
Oh, I have one more thing for you..... I thought this was cute:

I CHILD-PROOFED MY HOME,
BUT THE LITTLE BUGGERS
STILL KEEP GETTING IN!

Goodnight! Blessings! -Missygirl*
