Hello! ~I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day!
There's a lot of rain here today. No complaints. We can always use it.
The rain from heaven seems to make all things grow better
than any city water ever could. The birds have been chirping happily all day long.
I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard the new Indiana Jones movie is real good.
("Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".)
I do want us to go see that one. "Kung Fu Panda" (with Jack Black) looks real cute and also the new one with Will Smith: "Hancock" that one looks good too.
We haven't been to the movies in awhile and it really sounds fun.

A Couple of different Entertaining tips:
> Freeze green and red grapes seperately in plastic bags.
Use them as "ice cubes" to chill wine or punch.
> Hollow out colorful bell peppers, or round loaves of bread
and fill them with your favorite dips.
These creative containers look pretty, and there are no bowls to wash
after the party.
> For evening entertaining, set small clusters of votive candles on a
framed mirror to add sparkle to the buffet table. Be sure to place the candles
so that no one has to reach across them to get food.*

GENUINE KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN SECRET RECIPE

1 Tbsp dry mustard
4 Tbsp paprika
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. ground ginger
3 Tbsp. MSG (accent)
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients well.

Then turn them over in regular bread crumbs (commercial variety)
Finally, plunge them in the flour-spices mixture (above)
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Place chicken in a tray and cover with foil (shiny side out)
Cook 40 minutes.
Remove the foil and cook for another 40 minutes.
Baste lightly with oil 5 minutes before the end.
Let stand 5 minutes and serve.*

Have a good week everyone!
