Hi Friends! -I hope everyone is doing well.

What a rainy but beautiful day here in Colorado.

Life in The Blood

The blood of Jesus represents life. The Word says, "The blood is the life."

The blood cleanses. The blood Jesus poured out for us on the cross at Calvary cleanses us!

The Word tells us that our sins are blotted out by the blood. "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." It is blessed to know that all our past sins are gone- blotted out forever. But He goes further than that: He removes those evil desires, cravings, and characteristics produced by habitually yielding to the urgings of the selfish nature, even the flesh. When we finally give our all to Him and have our wills firmly set to obey Him and to live our lives by the law of love- that is when He puts within us a heart of flesh and the mind of Christ Jesus.

When you see anything in you that produces transgression, remember that His blood will take that away.*

**************************

Thank You that there is life in Your shed blood, and that I can apply it again and again to take away those things that would otherwise bring death. Thank You for Calvary.

Thank You Lord Jesus. amen.

We need to be striving to live pure and holy lives that will glorify God and help others turn to Him. Embrace your identity in Christ and bring Him glory!*

GREEN CHILI SAUCE

(my Dad sent me this recipe. I haven't tried it, but it looks pretty good.

It is the Chile season so I thought I'd pass this one on to ya:)

This recipe is from Three Bros. Farms in Everett, Washington

and it's given to their customers.

3 Tbsp. Olive oil

1 small Onion

1 cup Green Chilies, chopped

2 Tbsp. Flour

1 clove of Garlic, chopped

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/4 tsp. ground Black Pepper

1 cup Broth (chicken, vegetarian or beef)

Saute onions and garlic in 2 tablespoons olive oil for several minutes. Add green chilies and saute another 2 minutes. In a small bowl, mix flour, salt and pepper. Add 1 tablespoon oil to create a paste (slightly thicker than heavy cream). Add the paste to the sauteed chilies and onions and heat. Add broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil, then reduce

heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add more broth to create desired consistency.*

Time to Laugh!!!

"How was your blind date?"

"Terrible! He showed up in a 1932 Rolls-Royce!"

"What's so terrible about that?"

"He was the original owner!"

*************************

A police officer rushes to the scene of an accident to find a car smashed into a tree. The officer rushes over to the vehicle and asks the driver, "Are you seriously hurt?"

"How should I know?" The driver responds, "I'm not a lawyer!"
