Hello Everyone, I needed to share this message with you...
############################################ (Real quick I want to begin by saying, "Happy Birthday, Frieda") I recently had a video posted on here, regarding a threat from a group called 'anonymous' or they call themselves 'We are Legion'....
Anyway, I removed that post because the video itself was removed 'by the user' it said. Anyway, there was a threat that they would shut down Wall Street today. I don't know much about the threat, just what I've read on other posts and blogs. I thought I'd give you some more information about the 'anonymous' folks if you wanted to read some more. Their threat is supposed to happen today. This is what I've found online:
Recently they announced that they will “erase Wall St. from the Internet” on October 10th in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement. It isn’t clear what they actually intend to do. Attacking the web pages of NYSE will barely register to most traders that day so that doesn’t seem chaotic or destructive enough for the Anonymous collective. Since they promise that this will be a day that will “never, ever be forgotten,” some fear they have found a way to actually interfere with trading and could thus force the markets in this country to close indefinitely, grinding our economy to a halt.
But this speculation on their next attack has caused people to overlook another Anonymous threat issued just days before. In a video called “The Bankers are the Problem,” Anonymous spends a little over eight minutes making the case for violence against bankers and the mass murder of Wall Street workers:
In the video you’ll notice that the speaker disparages the idea of freedom, which should surprise some of Anonymous’ more rabid fans. But what I found most chilling were the frequent allusions to homicidal mob violence being divinely inspired.
What divinity inspires mobs to lynch unarmed people?
Anonymous claims to be fighting for some sort of larger cause. But what is it? Advocating murder will solve what problem? And what will happen if Anonymous follows through on its threat and does give us a day we’ll “never, ever forget” on October 10th? If Anonymous gets rid of those pesky bankers and financial services, what will happen to the thousands of trucks that bring food and water into New York City? What will the allies of Anonymous do if the group manages to collapse our economy? Forage for food in lower Manhattan?
Anonymous helped organize the Wall Street Occupation movement, encouraged hundreds of people who can barely care for themselves now to congregate in New York, and now wants to create a catastrophe there that members hope will cause untold chaos. This is not so much a protest as a plot to murder those people. The aftermath of a successful takedown of the markets by Anonymous will not look like the glorious revolution these protesters are imagining; it will be akin to a zombie apocalypse as panicked city dwellers find the intricate web of services that keep them alive disappearing with the malicious keystrokes of people watching and laughing from hundreds of miles away.
What exactly is the point of trying to cause this sort of chaos while their supposed allies — the people who will be blamed by the public — are there? Anonymous could have launched this attack before or after Occupy Wall Street. But then there would be less possibility of people getting hurt.
Anonymous recently took down Mexican government sites because they wanted to “make the government tremble.” Anonymous had little to say about Mexican cartels murdering bloggers. Anonymous is planning attacks on Facebook because of the website’s privacy polices, but as of yet Anonymous hasn’t attacked Backpage.com, a hotbed of human sex trafficking. There’s a pattern to the activities of Anonymous if people are willing to see it.
Anonymous is Legion, perhaps not in the literal sense, but in a cosmic sense. These individuals coalesced into one entity which has no physical form and exists only to inflict pain on others. No matter how lofty they claim their goals are, the reality is that everything they do is designed to harm others and they are no longer content with “virtual” harm. They are calling for violence, they are planning terror attacks. They are committed to doing evil in its most basic sense. •
Well, that was the story I found online. Whatever happens today we'll just have to wait and see. It might have been an angry, but empty threat. Who knows at this point. Don't forget: I just report, you decide.

Fast and Furious weapons were found in Mexico cartel enforcer's home

Reporting from Washington—
High-powered assault weapons illegally purchased under the ATF's Fast and Furious program in Phoenix ended up in a home belonging to the purported top Sinaloa cartel enforcer in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, whose organization was terrorizing that city with the worst violence in the Mexican drug wars.
In all, 100 assault weapons acquired under Fast and Furious were transported 350 miles from Phoenix to El Paso, making that West Texas city a central hub for gun traffickers. Forty of the weapons made it across the border and into the arsenal of Jose Antonio Torres Marrufo, a feared cartel leader in Ciudad Juarez, according to federal court records and trace documents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The smugglers' tactics — quickly moving the weapons far from ATF agents in southern Arizona, where it had been assumed they would circulate — vividly demonstrate that what had been viewed as a local problem was much larger. Six other Fast and Furious guns destined for El Paso were recovered in Columbus, N.M. •
Fast and Furious: The link between DOJ, Drug Cartels and the Palestinian Authority – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com
Americans don't seem to be so fired up about Operation Gunrunner and Fast and Furious, but they should be. The federal government authorized the selling of assault weapons and other guns to Mexican Drug cartel operatives. This willful assault on American citizens violates the Constitution's preamble charging government to "provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty." The Fast and Furious strategy knowingly and willfully armed dangerous lawbreakers and enemies of America. Amid reports that Islam and the cartel are working together, the unthinkable question is: Is this White House purposely working against America and her traditional allies?
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Mexican police seized dozens of high powered assault weapons from a drug cartel boss's home in Ciudad Juarez, the city with the worst violence in the Mexican drug wars. These weapons were purchased through the Justice Department's Fast and Furious program. Hundreds of such weapons are being found, many are used in crimes across US border states, and one known US agent was murdered with one of these weapons. Attorney General Eric Holder has denied to Congress any knowledge of this operation, however, he introduced it to a joint US/Mexico Arms Trafficking Conference in Cuernavaca, Mexico on April 2, 2009.
The Justice Department's National Drug Intelligence Center reported in 2007 that Islamic groups were working with the Central and South American drug cartels to sell drugs and buy weapons in support of terrorism. The report mentioned a dealer who "brokered international multimillion dollar arms deals for Yemen, Kuwait, Syria, Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, and Colombia and has supported several Middle Eastern terrorist groups including the Palestine Liberation Front, the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine." The PLO and the PLF are integral arms of the Palestinian Authority, which is America's dressed up governing body for a Palestinian State in Israel.
Connecting the dots: The Department of Justice had tremendous documentation and foreknowledge that Islamic terrorist organizations were dealing drugs and weapons with the cartels south of the border. These weapons were being used against Israel and by al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and others in fomenting terrorism. Yet, under the current Administration, the Justice Department elected to purposely sell assault rifles to drug cartels in some nonsensical scheme to trace the weapons. The result: endangering Americans, an American citizen murdered, aiding and abetting terrorists against Israel and America. Jeremiah 17:9 asks, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Is this the case at the heart of America's government? And should Americans be furious, fast? •
###################################################### Pope denounces "inhuman" mafia in southern Italy

LAMEZIA TERME, Italy (AP) -- Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday denounced the "inhuman" mafia that plagues southern Italy and urged residents there to respond to the region's suffering by caring for one another and the common good.
Benedict made the comments while celebrating an open-air Mass in Lamezia Terme, in Calabria in the "toe" of boot-shaped Italy.
The region is home to the 'ndrangheta mob, which is today considered more powerful than the Sicilian Mafia and is one of the world's biggest cocaine traffickers. Calabria is also one of the poorest regions in Italy - it has a 12 percent unemployment rate compared with a national average of 7.9 percent, and a 39 percent jobless rate for people aged 15-24.
Benedict noted the region is seismic - "not just geologically but from the structural, behavioral and social point of view" - and said high unemployment and Calabria's "often inhuman criminality wounds the fabric of society."
He praised Calabrians for their ability to live with such problems and a near-constant state of emergency and urged them to continue responding to the ills afflicting the region with faith and Christian values.
"Force yourselves to grow in the ability to collaborate with one another, care for one another and all the public good," he said.
It was Benedict's first visit to the region and police estimated about 40,000 people had turned out under cold, dark skies for the Mass.
The city's mayor, Gianni Speranza, welcomed Benedict but didn't gloss over the region's ills. "Welcome to Lamezia Terme, your holiness, a land of suffering," he said.
He said the region's young people needed a sign of hope that they can live without the mob and fear. "Enough with the mafia!" he added. •

Deadly Thai floods close factories, threaten Bangkok

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Nearly 200 factories, including one run by Japanese car maker Honda Motor Co Ltd, closed in the central Thai province of Ayutthaya because of flooding, which could threaten Bangkok this week, officials said on Sunday.
About 261 people have died since late July in flood-related incidents, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said. Some 2.3 million people have been affected in the worst flooding to hit parts of Thailand in 50 years, mainly in the center, north and northeast.
The Rojana estate in Ayutthaya province, run by Rojana Industrial Park Pcl, was flooded after a wall of sandbags failed to hold back water overnight.
"All 198 factories at Rojana have to be closed because the water is about 5.1 meters high," Industry Minister Wannarat Channukul told Reuters.
A Honda spokeswoman said it had moved about 3,000 assembled cars from the estate to other areas. Hana Microelectronics Pcl has also had to close its plant in Ayutthaya.
On Thursday the Center for Economic and Business Forecasting, part of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, cut its forecast for gross domestic product (GDP) growth this year to 3.6 percent from 4.4 percent because of the floods.
It put the impact of the flooding at between 1.0 and 1.3 percentage points of GDP and said its new growth forecast would have been lower but for recent strength in exports.
The commerce ministry said on Friday it had slashed its forecast for the main rice crop, which farmers are just starting to bring in, to 21 million tones from 25 million because of the flooding.
Thailand is the world's biggest rice exporter. The crop damage will add to the pressure on export prices, already being forced up by the high buying price set under a government intervention scheme aimed at helping poor farmers.
BANGKOK PREPARES FOR EVACUATION
Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said in a statement the authorities were preparing an evacuation plan to move people from affected areas if floods hit the capital, much of which is just two meters above sea level.
Some riverside areas have already suffered minor flooding but the level of the Chao Phraya River could rise sharply from October 15-18 when a large amount of water will reach the area from the north, where dams are close to overflowing, at a time of high sea tides.
The government was trying to accelerate the drainage of water from the Chao Phraya into the sea before the high tide.
Other Southeast Asian countries have suffered serious flooding in recent weeks because of heavy monsoon rains combined with tropical storms.
The death toll from two strong typhoons that cut across the north of the Philippines' main island and left behind widespread flooding had risen to 101 as of Sunday, the national disaster agency said.
At least 167 people had died in Cambodia by late last week and 15 in Vietnam. •
Two Alaska river-swimming killer whales found dead
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - Two of three killer whales that wandered far up an Alaska river have died, apparently succumbing to stresses associated with being out of their saltwater habitat, federal officials said on Sunday.
The surviving whale was seen swimming downriver Saturday toward possible safety, officials with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Fisheries Service said.
Biologists were concerned about the three whales because they had spent three weeks in southwest Alaska's salmon-rich Nushagak River and were lingering as far as 30 miles upstream from where the river flows into the saltwater of Bristol Bay.
It was the first time killer whales had been documented lingering far upriver in any area of Alaska, according to NOAA Fisheries officials.
The two whale deaths were confirmed late Saturday by a biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA said. Federal agencies had been tipped off by a local resident who reported seeing a floating carcass, and the biologist who searched the area by air found both of the dead whales, one floating and one on the riverbank, NOAA said.
When last seen swimming in the Nushagak River, all the whales had a filmy coating on their skin, a sign of stress.
Fresh water has a different chemical makeup than saltwater and prolonged exposure is dangerous for killer whales, said Julie Speegle, a NOAA spokeswoman in Juneau, Alaska.
"Saltwater is their natural habitat," she said. "They do often swim into fresh water pursuing prey, but usually they turn around and go back into the saltwater."
A team of NOAA-led biologists plan to conduct necropsies on the dead whales on Monday or Tuesday, Speegle said.
Meanwhile, biologists are still surveying the area to try to find the surviving whale and, if necessary, will consider steps to shoo it back into its saltwater habitat, she said. •
