China: Businesses Sell Aborted Babies as Stamina Booster Pills
Stomach this story … if you can:
A South Korean SBS TV documentary team accuses Chinese pharmaceutical companies of selling dead baby pills as stamina boosters.
The team reveals that the truth behind the dead baby pill is horrific and disturbing.
Chinese hospitals and abortion clinics that are connected to the business immediately notify pharmaceutical companies when a baby dies, mostly because of a still birth or an abortion.
The companies purchase the baby corpses and store them in some family’s refrigerator to avoid suspicion. The next step in this highly secretive process is putting the corpses in a medical drying microwave and grinding them into pills. The ground baby powder is then put in a capsule, ready to be sold as a stamina enhancer, according to the SBS team.
The Korean team acquired the dead baby capsules and ran DNA tests on it. The test results reportedly indicated the pills were 99.7 percent human. The test also found hair and nail remnants, and even the gender of the baby could be identified. The process will be aired with visuals in the SBS TV documentary on Aug. 6, 2011 in South Korea. [IBTimes]
I know this is gross and disturbing, but this sort of practice is the danger we run as a society when we cease to respect human life at all stages — we can be misled into treating unborn children like “raw material” and not like the unique human beings they are from their first moment.
What makes us recoil about this story the most is that we know –despite what some pro-aborts claim– that unborn babies are not just “clumps of cells” or “tissue.” Human fetuses are human beings. And to consume them in the way these “booster pills” suggest is cannibalism, pure and simple.
Our parents will instantly get the reference “Soylent Green is people” (ask them). It’s a quote from a 1973 movie with Charlton Heston about a future dystopia where the world’s food supply has run out. In China, Soylent Green is dead babies. We live in a dystopian world which devalues human life to the point of selling it when it has expired.
But the future is bright if we refuse to let this type of sickness linger any longer.

Companies Stop Using Abortion Cells to Test Artificial Flavors
Since a pro-life group announced that a biotech firm, Senomyx, is using aborted fetal cell lines to test their artificial flavor enhancers, two companies have announced they have disaffiliated with the firm. The group Children of God for Life, earlier this week, called for a public boycott of major food companies partnering with Senomyx. Those companies included food giants PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup, Solae and Nestlé.
Within hours of its press statement to LifeNews.com, the pro-life group received notice from Campbell Soup that the company has severed its ties with Senomyx. Juli Mandel Sloves, Senior Manager of Nutrition & Wellness Communications at Campbell Soup Company, told Vinnedge, “We are no longer in partnership with Senomyx. This fact was discussed during the Senomyx conference call with its investors earlier this month.”
Now, Solae, LLC, indicates it, too, has severed its ties with the controversial biotech firm.
Solae spokeswoman Jennifer Starkey confirmed, “Thank you for contacting Solae with your concerns on this issue. Solae does not currently have an active relationship with Senomyx nor do we have any future plans for one at this time.”
“Our recent recognition by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the “World’s Most Ethical” companies for the second year in a row signifies how seriously we take ethical business practices both at Solae and with our collaborative partners. While we cannot speak to what Senomyx may or may not be doing to test food flavor enhancers, we can confirm that we are not involved in this for our products,” Starkey added. “We live by four core values at Solae which include ethical behavior, respect for people, safety and health and environmental stewardship. We take all of these very seriously, and expect the same out of our innovation partners.”
Debi Vinnedge, the director of the pro-life organization, informed LifeNews.com that in 2010, her group wrote to Senomyx CEO Kent Snyder and pointed out that moral options for testing their food additives could and should be used. But when Senomyx ignored her letter, the group wrote to the companies Senomyx listed on their website as “collaborators” warning them of public backlash and threatened boycott.
“The company’s key flavor programs focus on the discovery and development of savory, sweet and salt flavor ingredients that are intended to allow for the reduction of MSG, sugar and salt in food and beverage products,” the Senomyx web site says. “Using isolated human taste receptors, we created proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems that provide a biochemical or electronic readout when a flavor ingredient interacts with the receptor.”
Vinnedge says a boycott is important because the collaborating companies provide Senomyx with research and development funding plus royalties on sales of products using their flavor ingredients.
“What they don’t tell the public is that they are using HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors,” she said. “They could have easily chosen animal, insect, or other morally obtained human cells expressing the G protein for taste receptors.”
Vinnedge says she has contacted the food companies working with Senomyx, but said it took three letters before one company, Nestlé, finally admitted its relationship with Senomyx and company officials claimed the line of cells from abortions was “well established in scientific research”.
PepsiCo wrote: “We hope you are reassured to learn that our collaboration with Senomyx is strictly limited to creating lower-calorie, great-tasting beverages for consumers. This will help us achieve our commitment to reduce added sugar per serving by 25% in key brands in key markets over the next decade and ultimately help people live healthier lives.”

Company Using Aborted Fetal Cells in Flavors,
shields its Partners
The company that was found to be testing their food additives using fetal cells from abortions is now working to hide the names of the corporations it contracts with as a pro-life boycott continues.
LifeNews.com reported on the controversy in March when information came to light showing biotech company Senomyx was found to be testing their food additives using fetal cells from a line based on cells from a baby victimized by abortion. Senomyx ignored a letter from the pro-life group Children of God for Life, which complained about its practices.
Now, the pro-life group informs Lifenews.com that Senomyx is attempting to hide the names of their corporate partners by removing them from their website.
“Public backlash has apparently caused much consternation for the biomedical firm that has ignored consumer complaints and continues to use HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney) cells in the research and development of artificial flavor enhancers,” says Debi Vinnedge, executive director of CGL.
The move by Senomyx comes after PepsiCo, one of the biggest corporate partners, ignored pro-life criticism in a canned recent response to customer letters, saying, “With respect to the flavor discovery research with Senomyx, we utilize techniques that have been the gold standard for several decades.”
“If this ‘gold standard’ is no big deal, then why are they trying so hard to hide the truth?” asked Vinnedge. “PepsiCo and Senomyx have done everything in their power to trivialize what they are doing, when in fact what they are doing is only further damaging their public image.”
Vinnedge says she wrote to all of the members of the board of directors of PepsiCo in late June noting their responsibility to protect shareholders’ interests and cautioned that further action would be taken if nothing is done. Since PepsiCo is funding the research and development and will pay royalties to Senomyx for product sales, the company has the ability to change the technology being utilized, but she indicates none of the board members have responded.
“As we noted in our PepsiCo Board letter, consumers find it repulsive to associate aborted fetal kidney material with something they are about to drink,” Vinnedge stated. “We believe consumers have a right to know and choose other products.”
In several previous communications, Children of God for Life has called on all Senomyx partners to either end their affiliation with Senomyx or persuade them to use morally obtained cell lines, several of which are listed as viable alternatives in their own patents. The group is asking the public to continue their boycott efforts and have produced a one page flyer that can be downloaded and distributed.
“The boycott is working and if PepsiCo continues to ignore our requests, we will file a shareholder resolution,” warned Vinnedge.
Debi Vinnedge, of the pro-life group, explained, “What they don’t tell the public is that they are using HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors. They could have easily chosen animal, insect, or other morally obtained human cells expressing the G protein for taste receptors.”
After exposing the practice, Vinnedge’s group called for pro-life people to contact the companies using Senomyx to test their products. While some companies like Campbells stopped contracting with it, others did not.
“There are many options PepsiCo could be using instead of aborted fetal cells, including animal, insect, or other morally obtained human cells,” she told LifeNews. “The revelation—a potential public relations nightmare—motivated Campbell Soup to sever all relations with Senomyx. However, PepsiCo continues their business relationship despite the abortion connection. Their response earlier this year drew public ire when they wrote that “our collaboration with Senomyx is strictly limited to creating lower-calorie, great-tasting beverages for consumers.”
“When pressed further, PepsiCo attempted to pacify angry consumers with a form letter response in which they insinuated they had been accused of conducting aborted fetal tissue research,” she added. “Their duplicity again drew public outrage.”
Brad Mattes of the Life Issues Institute is another pro-life leader calling for a boycott.
“While aborted fetal cells aren’t actually in the product itself, the close relationship is enough to repulse most consumers. To our knowledge, this is the first time a food product has been publicly associated with abortion,” he said.
Senomyx boasts they have over 800,000 unique flavors for foods, Vinnedge says, but cells expressing certain proteins produce a chemical signal when the flavors are introduced, which determines if they have achieved the proper flavor. The aborted fetal cells are not in the product itself.
Pro-life organizations are asking the public to boycott all PepsiCo products and encourage consumers to contact Pepsi management requesting that they sever all ties with Senomyx. Consumers are also encouraged to contact Campbell Soup and thank them for responding to pro-life concerns.
Pro-life groups joining Children of God for Life in the boycott to date are: American Life League, Life Issues Institute, Concerned Women for America, Colorado Right to Life, American Right to Life, Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute, ALL Arizona, Central Nebraskans for Life, Pro-Life Waco, Houston Coalition for Life, Mother and Unborn Baby Fox Valley, Womankind, Billboards for Life, Movement for a Better America, Defenders of the Unborn, Focus Pregnancy Help Center, Idaho Chooses Life, EMC Frontline Pregnancy Centers of NY, Four Seasons for Life, CREDO, Life Choices, STOPP Dallas, CA Right To Life, Human Life Alliance, International Right to Life Federation, Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation. LifeNews.com has joined the boycott call as well.

No one could convince me that the return of our Savior for His own, is not imminent!
The world is so wicked that without our Great God intervening, there's no way back for humanity, I believe.
Should we vote against abortion, it will be done anyway. They will shove it down our throats and make us pay for it! Literally. -Lord God, help us all. -Missygirl
